About Janice Masters, MA, LPC



  • Educator for over 27 years, working in the public school system with elementary age students. 
  • Facilitated Grief and Loss groups for over 25 years, working with people to help them cope with the loss of a loved one, and enable them to move on with their life.
  • Former Foster Parent and Adoptive Parent, who provided a loving, secure home to children in need for over eight years.
  • Founder and Chairman of The Rose Fund, a non-profit (under the Battle Creek Community Foundation), providing necessary needs to students in area schools.


 Janice has a Bachelor of Science in Special Education and Elementary Education from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI. She obtained her Masters of Arts in Counseling from Spring Arbor University in Spring Arbor, MI. 


 Janice is a Licensed Professional Counselor, licensed through the state of Michigan.
